We’ve just advertised a new position at Deakin, a Level B/C position in quantitative ecology (see PD attached), and so I’d really appreciate it if you could circulate this amongst colleagues, postdocs etc  at your University and  networks.  It’s an attractive position, being research intensive for the first 3 years and then an ongoing teaching/research academic role.  It’s a great opportunity for someone to make the transition to an ongoing academic role and join a strong and growing group of ecologists .

As noted in the PD, we’re looking for someone with a track record in quantitative ecology relating to conservation biology, landscape ecology, wildlife biology, fire ecology and/or restoration ecology.  We’re keen to recruit a person who is enthusiastic about working collaboratively with academic colleagues and industry partners.I’m happy to discuss the position with anyone who’d like further information
